The time is almost here! I’m unbelievably excited for this book to hit the shelves. I hope it makes you laugh, and if I’m being honest, I hope it makes you cry a little, too. That’s good sometimes. But mostly I hope it makes you hope. I hope it taps into and strengthens that part of you that smolders with defiant hope — the part of you that brought you to this website in the first place, looking for answers that a fair number of people must have already told you are not out there. I don’t claim to have all the answers, not by any stretch of the imagination, but I can humbly offer at least one possible alternative answer, one “yes” to their “no.” And if my “yes” causes you to whisper your own “yes” just a little louder, then all the work will have been worth it.
